Our Neighborhood

LEAP, provides a supervised "Neighborhood" where children develop friendships, nurture social skills, and play. Self-confidence, self-respect, and self expression are encouraged, as are responsibility, decision making, and respect for others. LEAP's recreational focus provides unstructured time for socializing and unwinding, as well as structured time for doing homework.

"I like the teachers-they're my friends."

Dependable After-School Care
LEAP was established in 1981 by a group of Lincoln parents in need of safe and dependable after-school care for their children. The program began in a single room with a part-time director and a handful of students. Today, LEAP has dedicated space in Hartwell Pod C, has a full-time director and more than ten full-and part time staff members, and serves more than 100 children of working and non-working parents.

POD C - Our Campus Location

LEAP is committed to nurturing a child’s growth and development. We provide the best resources available.  We encourage parents and children to visit our program to discover how we can help your children grow.

Parents, let LEAP help you find everything needed to create an exciting after school program for your children. The LEAP staff is dedicated and caring and provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child's growth.

LEAP's on-campus location allows the program to take full advantage of the Lincoln School playgrounds and athletic fields. Children are escorted to any activity that takes place on campus--recreation department activities, sports, music lessons, musical theatre workshops, Cub Scout and Brownie meetings and language classes to name a few.
